This year, Ammanford Lions are pleased to announce that there will be a ‘Tree of Light’ Service at All Saints Church, Ammanford. The ‘Tree of Light’ service gives you an opportunity to remember a special person or cause by sponsoring one of the lights in that person’s memory. For this we ask for a minimum donation of £5.
You are also invited to attend the ‘Tree of Light’ Service which is a relaxed, friendly Carol Service on Monday 2nd December at 6:30pm. At the beginning of the service, the Christmas Tree will be switched on and remain in the Church until after Christmas.
Accompanying the Service will be the School Choir from Saron School along with members of Ammanford Town Silver Band.
All are welcome whether you sponsor a light or not and if you do sponsor a light, there is no obligation to attend the service.
A remembrance card with your remembered name inside will be sent to each sponsor prior to Christmas and the names of all those remembered will be placed in a Remembrance Book or Llyfr Coffa and remain in the Church throughout the year.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to local good causes.
If you would like to remember someone special in your life and sponsor a light on the Tree you can do either of the following:
